I'm a Teacher, What's Your Superpower? - Camp Mug

Enamel Co., is a proud Tacoma WA-based brand, and the owner (that's me writing this... hi there.) has two kiddos, so we love our local teachers. Today, they're on strike to be paid (closer to) what they deserve, and we very enthusiastically support them!

So from today (Thursday, September 6) until the end of the strike (or until we run out!) we'll be giving one "I'm a Teacher, What's Your Superpower" mug to a teacher on the picket line for every one purchased. They deserve to know that we're on their side, so let's show them.

Note: It doesn't matter where you live! -While Tacoma-area teachers will be given the free mugs, please show your teacher love no matter where you are.

Available in a 12 oz size, only.

Enamel Co. Enamel Mugs:

Our vintage-style camping mugs are made from a thick enamel-coated steel. They are heavy (for enamelware mugs-- still lighter than ceramic), smooth, wonderful to drink from, and crazy sturdy. You can abuse the heck out of them.

Each mug is individually pressed in our Tacoma, Washington studio. Mugs may have small flaws, chips, discolorations, and variations in the enamel coating which are intended to add to individual character and vintage patina of your mug.

Toss these into a bag to take on a picnic, or take camping and abuse liberally. They're good for sneaky cups of wine or whiskey wherever you happen to be.

These are steel under enamel. So please don't use them in the microwave unless you want to create a localized lightning storm in your kitchen and pretend you're Harry Potter. Or Voldemort.

They are dishwasher safe and won't fade... though keep in mind that metal does rust, so any chips in the enamel will allow the steel underneath to rust if you put it in the dishwasher. But in general... dishwashing should be fine.
